Yuri's Busts are statues of Yuri used by the Epsilon Army as an uncommonly-seen defensive structure. It is able to defend the area around itself with dissolver beams.
Overview[]
The Yuri's Bust is a fearsome defense: its dissolver beams are strong versus both infantry and vehicles and can reach as far as the Antares Battery. They often appear in important Epsilon bases, such as the South Pole base.
Yuri's Busts are never buildable, but are capturable if an Engineer can reach it. Capturing Yuri's Busts only applies in certain Epsilon missions.
In skirmish, they only appear in two maps: the Purgatory Challenge where they are part of the enemy's defenses, and in Yuri Is Not Easy where they are present as neutral defensive structures. Unlike other neutral defenses that only become active when captured by an Engineer, an uncaptured Yuri's Bust will fire on any player-controlled units in its range (unless the neutral side doesn't have enough power to operate it), making it more difficult to capture them.

Act Two[]
Yuri's Busts appear in the following missions as part of Epsilon forces:
- The Yuri's Busts in Obsidian Sands are much more powerful than normal, capable of firing on both ground and air targets from a longer range.
- Three abandoned Yuri's Busts appear in the first phase of Reality Check, but does not serve any combat functions. If a Yuri's Bust is destroyed, a crate will appear that increases sight range.
Behind the scenes[]
- The artwork for the head of the Yuri's Bust is a public asset and can be used by other modders. The link can be found here.
- Prior to version 3.3.2, Yuri's Bust used artwork from the vanilla Yuri's Revenge game.
- In pre-3.3 era, Yuri's Bust only appears in a few skirmish/multiplayer maps, and its weapon was not dissolver beams, but a weapon similar to prism cannon.
