The Typhoon Attack Submarine is the primary naval vessel of the Soviets.

Heavy armor, cybernetic and electronical technologies, nuclear and tesla weapons and also.. submarines! Soviet Typhoons still remain world's best submarines. Be warned when moving your fleet through the sea or just a bigger river, as you may suddenly encounter those units and being ambushed by those doesn't end up well usually, when you are not prepared. Just after Soviet subs detect their enemies, they will charge up torpedo launchers and fire some at them. Torpedoes are rather strong, so two or three of them and any of your ships is sunk. Few more, and another goes underwater. To detect Typhoons, use another submarine, robot unit, warship armed with sensor arrays or a trained/mind-controlled aquatic animal. Submarines can be also detected with a Sonar Pulse.
