The Tesla Commando is an Allied infantry that appeared the 2.x series as a stolen tech unit acquired by infiltrating an Soviet Battle Lab.
The Tesla Commando's role as the Allied-Soviet stolen tech unit is succeeded by the Hoplite in version 3.0.

Since the first Great War, the Allies were trying to come up with something that can counter Soviet tesla technology. Despite the fact that Prof. Einstein invented weaponry based on prism logic, the Allies will never scorn when they get some of Soviet tesla coils in their hands, especially - in the hands of their Navy SEALs. After spying Soviet Battle Lab, Allies will be able to train Tesla Commandos - soldiers equipped with modern electro-proof armour and advanced tesla gun which is extremely effective against enemy vehicles as well as infantry. C4 packs will do the rest. Unlike Navy SEALs, Tesla Commandos can't swim due to the weight of the armor, but then - the armor gives him advantage over attack dogs.[1]
