The Tesla Coil is the Soviets' advanced anti-ground defense structure that can support each other for increased effectiveness in version 2.x and 1.2, respectively.

Nikola Tesla has invented those amazing devices long time ago, but they are still used by Soviets since the first Great War. Frightened Allies with huge power of thunder, impressed Yuri with the technology level represented by those. With auto-targeting systems armed, Tesla Coils can power up and generate powerful electric bolt, when they spot any enemy unit. Their lightning is deadly for any enemy infantry and may heavily damage foe's units. Owner can also increase power of Tesla Coils sending some Tesla Troopers near it. When they arrive to the position, they will start to charge Tesla Coils, increasing maximal damage amount that it's bolt can inflict. Two Tesla Troopers can make the Coil work even when base's power is low.[1]
