The Terror Drone is, as its name suggests, a Soviet drone in version 2.x and 1.2 respectively, used to terrorize enemies by tearing a vehicle from the inside out, although they can also be useful in reconnaissance duties.

Another one of Soviet light units and the first of Soviet robotical units produced on a massive scale - the Terror Drone is a small spider-like mobile mechanism which can travel through the battlefield very quickly, apparrently - they are the fastest units available. They use sharp metal claws to slice enemy troopers and parasite in enemy tanks, destroying their engine systems and finally making infested tanks explode. Terror Drones may annoy all Soviet enemies but those cannot resist too much damage as they are lightly armed. As Allied Mirage Tanks could quickly deal with squads of those spiders, the Soviets equipped Drones with heat-proof cover.[1]

Terror Drones were first robot units in Soviet army. Terror Drones may annoy all Soviet enemies but those cannot resist too much damage as they don't have heavy armor, so it makes them very vulnerable for enemy attacks.[2]
