The Syncronaut is the upgraded version of the Syncronin created when one is infused by a Nanofiber Sync. They are better armored, invisible to enemies' view and uses a different bond breaker that affects buildings around them instead of a single structure, although it has to be used up close.

Description

Once given the benefits of the Nanofiber Sync, Syncronins are transformed into Syncronauts. Syncronauts perform the same role as their former selves, but their ability to do so has been augmented by the sync. The Syncronaut is now permanently cloaked, allowing it to infiltrate enemy bases with impunity, and then working their bond breaking magic in secrecy.

The enhanced bond breaker no longer affects a single structure, nor is it a ranged weapon. Instead, the Syncronaut can now decrease the molecular cohesion in multiple structures within range, making it ideal to use powerful artillery units or even a superweapon to quickly reduce the affected structures to rubble. Syncronauts will not break their invisibility while casting the bond breaker, but once active the weapon’s strong energy signature can easily be detected by enemy commanders.
