The Sentry Drone is a robotic Soviet unit designed for anti-infantry and detection purposes. It only existed on Mental Omega version 1.2 and older.

The Sentry Drone was succeeded by the Repair Drone in subsequent versions.

Official description

Since Yuri has started to mass produce his stealth forces, and the Soviets decided to increase their robotical arsenal, they started to use Sentry Drones - unit based on Allied Robot Tank technology, but mixed with Soviet robot equipment. In the final results, the Sentry Drone became an excellent anti-personnel light unit which is able to decloak any stealth units and eliminate disguised spies or Mirage Tanks. An advantage of this unit is that it hovers over water, so it can additionally detect submarines and make them vulnerable from other naval attacks. Unluckily, Sentry Drones are slow so Yuri's cloaked units can outrun them.

• The Sentry Drone's appearance is based on the Multi-Drone, a Soviet unit that is cut from Red Alert 2.
• The Sentry Drone uses the voiceset of the Chaos Drone from Yuri's Revenge.
