The Rocketeer is an Allied aerial infantry used for both anti-ground and anti-air assault.
Since many centuries, man has wanted to fly. Though the invention of aircraft alleviated this desire to some degree, the concept of soldiers being able to fly around the battlefield almost indefinitely was a dream for the Allies that has finally been realized through a joint project by Allied scientists.
Rocketeers are brave individuals who hover far above the battlefield, engaging ground and air targets with relative impunity. Though their high speed and maneuverability makes them excellent scouts, they are very vulnerable to anti-air emplacements, and should be kept well away from them.

Possibly the most versatile airborne infantry unit besides the hero Norio and the Chinese Gyrocopter, Allied Rocketeers are useful infantry to have when an Allied player cannot engage targets due to distance, terrain or other factors. In small groups, they are dangerous to infantry forces, while larger Rocketeer clusters can pose a threat to even armored columns. If used carefully, Rocketeers can quickly make short work of advancing enemy lines before racing back to base - without even taking damage.
In spite of their speed and versatility, they will easily fall if exposed to anti-air fire. Their short range also puts them at risk of being drawn into the range of anti-aircraft weapons when pursuing targets.
- Rocketeers make their first appearance in Eagle Fly Free. After the player recaptures the Air Force Academy Chapel, several Rocketeers will reach the Allied base, and more can be trained by Allied Barracks.
