The Pacific Front (often shortened to PF) is one of three subfactions of the Allied Nations.

Official description[]

The Pacific Front is the most recent member of the Allied forces, who hastily joined when the threat of China began to loom on the horizon. Due to the need to quickly mobilize as many forces as possible in preparations for the war, the modern Pacific Front arsenal is partially comprised of former civilian or law enforcement machines converted into military weapons, with help of the renowned Kanegawa Industries. Behind the scenes, it is an organization loosely comprised of people with clashing ideologies - groups that each have their own vision of what the Pacific Front's future in the world should look like.

Combining long-range weaponry and cryogenic tech, the Pacific Front offers a lot of versatility to their allies. Their hero Norio, donning the mighty ‘Garuda’ power armor, their Black Eagle fighter jets assert the absolute dominance of the Pacific Front over the skies, while the Hyperion keeps it clear of enemy threats.[1]

History[]

Third Great War[]

The Pacific Front was formed in the early days of the Third Great War, in response to the potential threat of socialist China. Japan, which was separated from American colonial rule[2], was a core component of the Pacific Front, in addition to South Korea and Australia[3].

When the Soviets launched an offensive against North America and Europe, the Pacific front was not affected. Instead, they planned to invade the defensively-weak Russian Primorsky Krai, although their offensive later failed.

However, in Japan, where acts as leader of the Pacific Front, some people formed a secret alliance with China, and most of the Japanese Pacific Front troops were obeying China's actions - especially after China occupied Japan, though the formation time of this alliance was unknown, but approximately during the Japanese independence referendum, some Japanese officials secretly made deals with China. Even so, there were a small number of Allied loyalists opposing China, who were mainly stationed in the Kyushu region, led by Norio Tomokawa. They even helped the Allies organize a hidden rescue operation in Kyoto.

On the other side, the small amount of Pacific Front oversea troops provided part of weaponry and tech support to the European Alliance, including a group of members from Kanegawa Industries who were directly involved in the Paradox Project, transferred to Europe in the said operation. And another Pacific Front oversea forces who cooperate well with the Euro Alliance participated in the actions of stealing American technology with them, and destroyed the magnetized Eiffel Tower with the Mercury Satellite under their control, although the Comm Towers in an Arctic secret base and the uplink in Hawaii were later destroyed.

Shortly after the failure of Soviet Union's attack on Britain, China declared war on the Soviet Union, and the Pacific Front traitors also joined China's attack on the Primorsky Krai again. However, the Sino-Pacific Alliance broke down due to an unidentified conflict shortly after they failed in the battle of Primorsky Krai. The resisters' attempt to use the new Hailstorm to attack the Chinese/North Korean defense facilities was also unsuccessful. Eventually, these Pacific Front defectors were suppressed by China, Japan backed to the state of Chinese occupation and the South Korea died under the fierce attack of the North Korea. There has been no longer a foothold for the Pacific Front loyalists in East Asia. In the end, Norio Tomokawa led a part of the Pacific Front forces in Japan and South Korea to recycle necessary technology in a KI Complex stationed in Tsugaru Strait, and then led the army to evacuate to Australia.

Mental Omega War[]

Two years later, the Pacific Front was still in a state of disintegration. The troops that fled to the London Fortress along with the main Allied forces later became part of the Paradox Expeditionary Force; The troops that fled to Oceania lost Australia and New Zealand after the rise of the Epsilon Army, can only go into exile again; and the rest in Japan got all restricted by China. Fortunately, the fleeing forces from Oceania led by Norio Tomokawa made contact with the Paradox Expeditionary Force, and both sides conducted an escort operation in the Panama Canal to rendezvous, after which they came to the overseas research base in the Virgin Islands, they participated the battle of protecting the Weather Controller that succeeded from Euro Alliance and they joined the Paradox Expedition Forces, completed the reorganization with the overseas branch and the regrouped forces is called as the "Boomerang Regiment". Norio himself was joined in eliminating multiple threats from the Amazonas rainforest, while other troops were heading to San Juan to help evacuate the American forces there. After successfully evacuating the US forces in San Juan, they, with the help of Norio and Tanya, joined forces with these American forces to prevent the second nuclear crisis at the Paradox Engine together.

The Pacific Front also participated in the later stages of the war, including the attack on Zaire and the battle of Cape Town, where a Pacific leading force suffered the mind control of Epsilon Army, but they broke free in the rescue of the European Alliance forces. In addition, the Pacific Front was part of the Allied offensive forces in the battle of Antarctica, where Norio led them acting the anti-encirclement task against Epsilon after the Battle of Weddell Sea, while another division of the Pacific Front and an American division continue pushing through inner Antarctica and captured some unidentified clones of Epsilon. After capturing these clones, the troops led by Norio Tomokawa will secure them.

However, early on, the real Libra had noticed this and crushed almost all of the Allied outposts, with her clones, one of the Allied commanders, and Norio later getting killed in the process.

At the same time, the local troops of the Pacific Front stranded in Japan also carried out their own operations. These troops at the time of the Epsilon’s attack on Japan were very dissatisfied with China’s withdrawal behavior, and some of them were intending to separate from China's control. Later, the group represented by the native Kanegawa Industries in Japan left their country and joined the Chinese rebels who claimed to be "The Revolt" in Hokkaido, after escaping from China's blockade and Epsilon's aggression.

Meanwhile, at the same time the Revolt launches an assault on Point Hope on hopes of delaying Yuri's worldwide mind-control, the Boomerang task force would be eradicated by the Epsilon and mind-controlled Soviet and Allied forces during a failed attempt to destroy the Mental Omega Device.
