The Omega Cannon is an advanced long range defense used by PsiCorps. It only exists on Mental Omega version 1.2 and older.

It is eventually succeeded by the Antares Battery introduced in version 3.0.

Official description

Anti-artillery defenses became very popular in both the Allied and Soviet armies. PsiCorps decided to create their own long range defense, based on quantum technology developed in their army recently. The Omega Cannon fires big balls with quantum charge that explode with destructive power, destroying or at least badly damaging enemy units in an area. Unluckily, long range hampers the accuracy in this defense structure, so it will not always hit its target, especially mobile ones.

Trivia

• The Omega Cannon uses the same selection sound as every power plant (bar Nuclear Reactor) in version 1.2.
