The Old Allied Radar Dome and Old Soviet Radar Dome are respectively old-generation Allied and Soviet structures that provide the owner with radar when captured.
Overview[]
In the campaign, the Old Radar Domes usually serve as either a mission objective or a requirement to complete an easter egg. Otherwise, they will only provide radar and sometimes the Satellite Scan support power.
Appearances[]
Act One[]
- Five Old Allied Radar Domes are the objective of Zero Signal. Three of them has been captured by the Soviets, while the other two remain in Allied hands, who must take back the three captured Radar Domes. All of them provide Satellite Scan support power.
Act Two[]
- In Divergence, an Old Soviet Radar Dome located at bottom left of map serves as an easter egg (see here for details).
Special Ops[]
- In Fallen Ashes, destroying of Latin Confederation's Old Soviet Radar Domes is a mission objective. The Confederation will prepare communicating with their forces in Europe when the player attacks them, and the player can infiltrate one of them to delay their communication progress before destroying all of them.
Cooperative[]
- In Mad Monster, there's two Old Allied Radar Domes that will grant the player that captures them access to Satellite Scan, as there is no Air Force Command Headquarters on the map.
- Another Old Allied Radar Dome appeared in Downfall. Allies must keep it safe before gaining access to reinforcements from England. However this structure didn't grant access Satellite Scan for player 1 due to over power to help player 2.
