Add-on Gallery Changelog
For the parent structure, see Nanofiber Loom.

The Nanofiber Loom Expansion is an add-on for the Last Bastion Nanofiber Loom, which grants them full access to the Last Bastion's arsenal. It also provides support powers that complement the Last Bastion's defensive doctrine that makes their established bases difficult to siege.

Official description

To acquire full access to their technology, each of the Foehn Revolt's subfaction must upgrade a technology building which corresponds to its technology and strategy choice. This is why Haihead will aim to construct an Expansion for the Cyberkernel, the Wings of Coronia will upgrade the Cloud Piercer and the Last Bastion will focus on developing an addition to the Nanofiber Loom.

Each of the upgrades requires construction of all three major technology buildings of Foehn beforehand and each will additionally provide unique support powers for the commanders to use.[1]

Overview

Besides unlocking the most advanced units and buildings of the Last Bastion has to offer (such as the fearsome Boidmachine and the Plasmerizer), the Nanofiber Loom Expansion provides the following support powers:

Support power Description
Nchricon
All operational Last Bastion Mastodons and Leviathans can be ordered to release their stored nanites around them in a wide radius, which permits nearby Foehn units to restore their health quickly, even in the middle of an offensive maneuver. The aptly known as the Nanocharge costs $1000 and has a cooldown of 5:30.
Swdricon
To reinforce their positions swiftly, Last Bastion commanders can opt to summon 2 Sweepers via Cargo Plane wherever they wish once a Cloud Piercer is present as well. The Sweeper Drop costs $2200 and takes 6:30 to recharge.

Once Last Bastion has installed a Nanofiber Loom Expansion, it becomes very important for them to defend the Nanofiber Loom, as they will lose a myriad of their access to their high technology as well as the aforementioned attributes of the Nanofiber Loom once it is destroyed.
