In version 2.x and 1.2, the Kirov Airship is the most iconic Soviet unit, which is a slow-moving zeppelin capable of causing mass destruction and are also tough to boot.

Yuri probably still remembers those days, when he used to command these mighty zeppelins being on the Soviet side, before he invented his flying saucers. Kirov Airships are (rather) big units, which smile is well-known to all of commanders around the world. When Soviets swarmed the United States with those, the Americans had no chance to protect their motherland from those monsters, as they were not expecting an air assault with.. blimps. Bombing cities with high-explosive bombs, Kirov Airships use explosives enhanced with Tesla's electrical charges. It also seems, that the Soviets upgraded the airships with improved engines so it can reach any position faster.

I still remember those days, when I used to use this mighty zeppelins. Kirov Airships are rather big units, which even being slow moving aircrafts, although as I see, Soviets have modified them a little! It's now smaller and much faster than it was before, although it's immunity to missiles, machine guns and other weapons has decreased. Soviets also dropped old bombs, because old Kirovs often crashed before even getting over their target! With new double hellstorm cannons, they can pierce through enemy units and bases on better range, although they won't inflict so big damage as they used to. It's cannon can also damage air units, it means that Kirovs can now protect themselves from enemy aircrafts.
