—Floating Disc

The Floating Disc is the primary assault aircraft of the PsiCorps / Epsilon Empire in versions 1.2 and the 2.x series, respectively.

Official description[]

v2.x[]

This probably confirms that Yuri met aliens one day during his stay on the moon. As Yuri didn't want to use Soviet Kirov Airships anymore, he decided to create his own 'huge' aircraft but this one exceeds everything! The Floating Disc is another of Epsilon's most advanced weapons - with its mysterious radioactive laser cannon it can lethally poison enemy infantry making them implode with a toxin and heavily damage any kind of units - ground, air and naval ones. A powerful laser with long range is not the only great feature of this terrific weapon - Floating Disc has also a special transmitting plate mounted on its bottom. The plate creates a parasite beam, which shuts down power in enemy reactors and defenses. Though its parasitic capabilities are very useful and if used wisely they can cause havoc in enemy bases, the Floating Disc is not able to target some elements with the laser itself. That's why Epsilon commanders should always keep some ground units nearby when leading an assault.[1]

v1.2[]

PsiCorps don't use alien technology... but with this aircraft they are very close! The Floating Disc is Yuri's advanced air assault unit. It attacks enemies with the 'Xaeques' laser cannon prototype, perfect against infantry and effective against armored ground units and aircraft. Average armor allows it to survive enemy anti-air attacks. The Floating Disc can also be a parasite in enemy base; it can steal money by using its drain beam over enemy refinery or it can shut down power plants and powered defense structures. These helped PsiCorps significantly during operations on the moon.[2]
