The Ghost Miner is the main resource gatherer of the Epsilon Empire (except the Scorpion Cell) in version 2.0psi, which is the changed version of the Gravi Miner in previous versions.
Official description[]
As Epsilon decided to drop their Slave Miners from active use (except for the Scorpion Cell) due to many weaknesses of slaves and whole technique of gathering ore with them, Epsilon scientists designed a new prototype of a harvester. After reaching required technology level, Epsilon was able to establish ordinary Ore Refineries, so their technicians created the Ghost Miner - ore collecting unit with stealth system based on Yuri's psychic illusion, which allows it to harvest ore while staying unnoticed. Unlike Slave Miners, Ghost ones are unarmed because they would be too heavy to carry so much equipment, stealth system takes a lot of space in it already. When Ghost Miner is destroyed, small amount of berserk gas is released.[1]
Trivia[]
- Its cameo is based on a render of a certain Rebel Resourcer unit from a discontinued Red Alert 2 mod called 2021 Cataclysm.
- The Ghost Miner voxel's creator ArgCmdr was also the lead developer behind the aforementioned mod.
