The War Factory is yet another important structure for the Foehn, which are responsible for producing Foehn vehicles as well as their aircraft.

Official description

The War Factory allows for the production of Foehn's expensive and technologically advanced units on the battlefield. It is also the only place where the Foehn can construct their aircraft, since they do not require an airfield for such units to repair and reload at. The more War Factories a commander has on the field, the faster vehicles are built.[1]

Overview

The Foehn War Factory builds the following vehicles/aircraft:

Standard vehicles

Unit Description
Nminicon
  • Foehn's cheap ore miner and repair vehicle
  • Harvests and unloads ore equivalent to 300 credits (600 for gems)
  • Repairs nearby vehicles, including fellow Minermites
  • Benefits from a speed boost when nearby a Spinblade
  • Requires a Foehn Ore Refinery to be built
Jackicon
  • Foehn's swift anti-infantry vehicle and transport
  • Fires sonic waves to obliterate enemy infantry
  • Has 1 passenger slot
  • Infantry can fire out of the Jackal
  • Amphibious
  • Benefits from a speed boost when nearby a Spinblade
Teraicon
  • Foehn's basic anti-aircraft drone
  • Armed with a Golden Rocket launcher that is powerful against aircraft
  • Must be locked on to the target before firing
  • Immune to mind control, radiation, poison, hijacking and depiloting
  • Receives a firepower boost when close to a deployed SODAR Array
Ccloicon
  • HHicon Haihead's main battle walker
  • Armed with a 110mm cannon with ReLoader that rapidly fires tank shells against foes
  • Deals double damage when firing at close range
Dracicon
  • WoCicon Wings of Coronia's main battle tank
  • Armed with a 100mm cannon with ReLoader to deal with enemy armor
  • Receives a speed boost when nearby a Spinblade
  • May release its turret as a controllable flying Draco Drone when destroyed
Roacicon
  • LBicon Last Bastion's main battle tank
  • Armed with a 110mm cannon with ReLoader that fires anti-armor shells against opponents
  • Capable of repairing via nanites when taking too much damage; repairs are faster when stationary
  • Repairs twice as fast from Nanocharge support power
Raccicon
  • Foehn's support vehicle
  • Armed with an ECM jammer that is able to disable weapons of enemy vehicles and aircraft
  • ECM jammer is able to disable structures as well
  • Blocks the use of support powers (except reconnaissance ones) around itself due to its miniature signal inhibitor
  • Requires a Cyberkernel to be built
Sodaicon
  • Foehn's stealth detector and Golden Rocket Booster
  • Must be deployed to enable long range stealth detection and damage boost of units armed with Golden Rockets
  • Requires a Nanofiber Loom to be built
Fmcvicon
Irrticon
  • HHicon Haihead's combat support vehicle
  • Fires confusion rays to cause chaos among enemy ground armies
  • Deploy to switch armament to illumination flares to reduce enemy armor
  • Immune to confusion rays
  • Requires a Cyberkernel to be built
Rdrnicon
  • WoCicon Wings of Coronia's assault drone
  • Discharges an energy pulse at close range that is effective against enemy land divisions
  • Power explosion disables the Roadrunner temporarily
  • Detects disguised enemies
  • Receives speed boost when nearby a Spinblade
  • Immune to mind control, radiation, poison, hijacking and depiloting
  • Requires a Cloud Piercer to be built
Swpricon
  • LBicon Last Bastion's ambush drone
  • Must deploy to fire its ground-to-ground Golden Rocket launchers that are effective against ground troops
  • Cloaked when deployed
  • Amphibious
  • Receives a firepower boost when near a deployed SODAR Array and a speed boost when nearby a Spinblade
  • Immune to mind control, radiation, poison, hijacking and depiloting
  • Requires a Nanofiber Loom to be built
Mgldicon
  • HHicon Haihead's advanced unmanned battle walker
  • Armed with a plasma blade to slice through infantry, vehicles and even buildings easily
  • Immune to omnicrush, mind control, radiation, poison, hijacking and depiloting
  • Receives an energy shield that boosts the Megalodon's speed and durability when nearby a Megaarena Projector
  • Energy shield also instantly kills infantry (except heroes) on contact
  • Requires a Cyberkernel upgraded with Cyberkernel Expansion to be built
Shryicon
  • HHicon Haihead's artillery and anti-aircraft vehicle
  • Armed with an amplified sonic wave emitter that is able to shatter infantry, aircraft and structure alike
  • Requires a Cyberkernel upgraded with Cyberkernel Expansion to be built
Mdmnicon
  • HHicon Haihead's kamikaze epic unit
  • Armed with a supreme M.A.D. warhead that is capable of destroying nearly everything on the ground when activated (including a Construction Yard when positioned properly)
  • Destroys itself when warhead is successfully activated
  • Must deploy to activate warhead; activation takes a long time
  • Does not explode violently when destroyed before activating warhead
  • Immune to many battlefield hazards (including mind control and confusion rays)
  • Unable to be transported, chronoshifted, and affected by Blasticade or Iron Curtain
  • Only one may be present at a time
  • Requires a Cyberkernel upgraded with Cyberkernel Expansion to be built
Tarcicon
Masticon
  • LBicon Last Bastion's super heavy anti-armor tank
  • Armed with a plasma railgun that blasts enemy armor to pieces
  • Must be locked on to the target and charge up before firing
  • Capable of repairing via nanites when taking too much damage; repairs are faster when stationary
  • Repairs twice as fast from Nanocharge
  • Immune to omnicrush, and depiloting
  • Requires a Nanofiber Loom upgraded with Nanofiber Loom Expansion to be built
Gharicon
  • LBicon Last Bastion's heavy assault armored personnel carrier
  • Armed with two power cannons and HE grenades that easily demolishes structures and wipe out infantry
  • Amphibious
  • Has 3 passenger slots that are already occupied by 3 Knightframes
  • Immune to all hazards
  • Requires a Nanofiber Loom upgraded with Nanofiber Loom Expansion to be built
Boidicon
  • LBicon Last Bastion's global range epic unit
  • Armed with a particle collider artillery that decimates entire enemy armies
  • Must deploy to charge and fire "Boid Blitz"; countdown restarts when Boidmachine is relocated
  • Immune to most battlefield hazards
  • Only one may be present at a time
  • Requires a Nanofiber Loom upgraded with Nanofiber Loom Expansion to be built

  • Armed with twin Very Heavy Machine Guns to eliminate infantry and aircraft
  • Deploy to drop portable stun grids that immobilize infantry

Divricon
  • HHicon Haihead's aerial kamikaze drone
  • Launches itself in a kamikaze dive at the target upon attack
  • Deals massive damage to vehicles and lesser damage to other targets due to its plasma discharge bomb
  • Requires a Cyberkernel upgraded with Cyberkernel Expansion to be built
Ptericon
  • WoCicon Wings of Coronia's aerial assault gunship
  • Armed with two pressurizer batteries to eradicate enemy vehicles in a small radius
  • Requires a Cloud Piercer upgraded with Cloud Piercer Expansion to be built
Alnqicon
  • WoCicon Wings of Coronia's dedicated anti-aircraft aircraft and area denial
  • Armed with a powerful windflow manipulator to ground enemy aircraft in moments
  • Deploy to generate a tornado that is effective against infantry and aircraft
  • Requires a Cloud Piercer upgraded with Cloud Piercer Expansion to be built
Qutzicon
  • Foehn's aerial siege unit
  • Deploys drones that mark enemy structures for destruction from orbital strikes
  • Invisible on radar
  • WoCicon Wings of Coronia can increase Quetzal durability significantly via Quetzal Shield
  • Requires any of the 3 Foehn technology expansions to be built

  • Foehn's ambush vehicle out of Allied Mirage technology and Golden Rocket weaponry
  • Golden Rockets are strong versus vehicles and aircraft
  • Disguises as a tree when stationary
  • Invisible on radar
  • Receives a firepower boost when near a deployed SODAR Array
  • Deploy to hold fire until ordered to undeploy
  • Requires the infiltration of a Tech Center and an Allied Construction Yard along with any of the 3 Foehn technology expansions to be built
Seiticon
  • Foehn's siege and support vehicle derived from Soviet EMP technology and Foehn nanofiber weaponry
  • Armed with nanofiber threads that pierces through vehicles and structures with ease
  • EMP cannon disables vehicles for a short time
  • Requires the infiltration of any of the 3 Soviet labs and a Soviet Construction Yard along with any of the 3 Foehn technology expansions to be built
Arclicon
  • Foehn's anti-infantry vehicle out of Epsilon stealth technology and Foehn nanotechnology
  • Armed with a nanoid cannon that devours infantry, converting them into nanoclouds that heals Foehn infantry
  • Cloaked until attacking
  • Detects stealth
  • Amphibious
  • Resistant to standard tank shells
  • Immune to mind control
  • Deploy to hold fire until ordered to undeploy
  • Requires the infiltration of a Pandora Hub and an Epsilon Construction Yard along with any of the 3 Foehn technology expansions to be built

  • Foehn's anti-structure vehicle derived from stolen technology
  • Armed with plasma cutters that slices through enemy buildings
  • Deploy to disable structures around itself for a limited time through an energy pulse
  • Requires the infiltration of a Cloud Piercer and a Foehn Construction Yard along with any of the 3 Foehn technology expansions to be built

Trivia

  • Unlike its counterparts, the Foehn War Factory has no visible floor inside. This can be seen when the roof opens upon construction of an aircraft. This may suggest that, like the Foehn Barracks, the Foehn construct most of their armor and infantry underground and the Factory is more of an elevator than an actual factory.
