Scissors The following is a content cut from Mental Omega APYR. Scissors

Mental Omega 3.0 was originally intended to be a continuation of events presented in Mental Omega 2.0 before the reboot. In an alpha build from late 2009, there were 5 missions being planned to fit in the to story from v2.0, with 4 of them in a playable state before being scrapped.

Ghosts[]

Three new Allied missions were supposed to fit between Fire and Water and Plague. Ghosts was the first in the row.

Gentle Execution[]

Gentle Execution was the second one.

  • Local Rebellions uses three campaign exclusive vehicles without their names known.
  • Local Rebellions are in yellow and Scorpion Cell forces are in green.
  • Some civilian buildings are invisible in the mission, possibly an oversight.

Immortal[]

Immortal was the last. It takes place on some undefined islands where is a base controlled by Soviets which Epsilon tries to take control.

Allies wants to eliminate this base and depends on Epsilon, so they send a team with bunch of Robot Tanks and Barracudas to destroy nuclear reactor and cut the power from Soviet coastal defenses. But then Epsilon doesn't managed to destroy this base but they mind control Soviet Forces. Surprised allies send a emergency full scale assault to deal with now combined Epsilon and Soviet forces.

  • The player has some sort of "Mobile Airpads" that can deploy into Support Airpads.
  • A Soviet naval unit equipped with tesla coils can been seen during the intro.
  • The Cyborg Prototype from this mission works exactly the same as its counterpart from the 3.x series does. It uses the same sprite as the Flame Thrower from version 1.2, and their weapons are minigun for ground units and nuclear grenades against buildings.

Enemy of Choice[]

Two new Soviet missions were supposed to fit between A Play of Two and Dragon Dance, but only the first one, Enemy of Choice was in a playable state.

Unnamed Epsilon mission[]

This is an Epsilon mission with only loading screen is known. It takes place in the Solomon Islands, and the main objective is probably to defend the Time Machine while Yuri is using it.

  • Although probably coincidental, it resembles the first objective of Unthinkable.
