Mental Omega Wiki

The armies of the Foehn Revolt have managed to conquer a remote island on the Pacific Ocean and are trying to convert it into a hybrid battlebase. The amount of nanomachines deployed on their units is unusually large, so be careful.
—Map description

Endurance Challenge is the sixteenth Challenge map, where enemy forces consist of all three Foehn subfactions with a preference towards nanomachine weapons.

Information[]

The enemy has a Haihead base at the center, a Wings of Coronia base in the northwest and a Last Bastion base in the southeast, each of which starts with two Reprocessors.

All enemy units and buildings are much harder to kill: the former are always healed by Nanocharge (with vehicles being additionally repaired by Tech Machine Shops), while the latter benefit from a permanent armor bonus similar to the Nanocoat Regulator's with one difference: it is not disabled when the base is powered down.

In addition, the enemy has access to Archelons that lie in wait and guard their bases.

Support power changes/additions:[]

  • The enemy has access to a second Devourer from the preplaced Reprocessors. These Devourers have a 10 minute cooldown instead of the usual 6 minutes and 30 seconds, however.
  • Enemy Signal Jammer's requirement changed to Cyberkernel, which means all three enemies can use it.

Building changes/additions:[]

  • The enemy is unable to build Nanocoat Regulators.

Starting point Tech buildings[]

Behind the scenes[]

  • Prior to version 3.3.6, the Coronian and Last Bastion AI have quite limited space for building, which ususally made them unable to play their due combat effectiveness, such as not enough space to build multiple production facilities and Tempest Architects and so on.
