Why do you need that armor?

The following is a list of armor modifiers that either increase or decrease armor, causing units and/or structures to become more or less susceptible to damage.

Positive (buff)

Faction Buffs
General
  • All infantry have an innate +30% when owned by a faction; neutral-owned are excluded
  • Veteran rank -> +40% on promoted unit/upgraded defense that lasts indefinitely
  • Random crate bonus -> +25% on units/defenses, radius 3
  • Tech Protector buff -> +40% on ground vehicles for ~8 seconds (lasts indefinitely within radius), radius 10

  • Thor Gunship loudspeaker on deploy -> +50% on ground units around radius for 30 seconds, radius 4
  • Siegfried chrono freeze on deploy -> +9800% on ground units around radius for 16 seconds, radius 3.5
  • Black Widow and Widow Alpha buff -> +100% on all aircraft around radius for 20 seconds, radius 5
  • Glacial Screen buff -> +300% on ground vehicles for 28 seconds, radius 3

  • Synthesis Vault buff -> +40% on Tank Bunkers for 8 seconds (indefinitely within radius), radius 9
  • Quick Fort spawn buff -> +40% on spawned Tank Bunker for 40 seconds
  • Scout Raven spawn buff -> +700% on itself for 8 seconds
  • Libra anti-gravity shield on deploy -> +150% on herself for ~9 seconds (12 if elite)
  • Kinetic Barrier buff -> +50% on ground infantry for 48 seconds, radius 3

  • Nanocoat Regulator buff -> +50% on buildings around radius for ~8 seconds (indefinitely if within radius), radius 5.7
  • Golden Wind buff -> +30% on ground vehicles and Foehn infantry around Spinblade radius for 8 seconds, radius 4.5

Negative (debuff)

Faction Debuffs
Allicon.png
  • Cryocopter cryobeam -> from -20% to -95% maximum on ground units/buildings, lasts indefinitely until cryobeam is stopped or directed elsewhere
  • Cryomines explosion -> -50% to ground units for 24 seconds, radius 2
  • Target Painter debuff -> -20% on ground/naval units for 40 seconds, radius 4
  • Bulldog Tank target painter -> -15% on ground/naval units for 10 seconds, radius 1.1
  • Harrier HEAT missiles -> -30% on ground vehicles/naval vessels for 4 seconds
Sovicon.png
  • Sensor Tower spotlight -> -15% for ~0.5 seconds, lasts indefinitely until spotlight is stopped or directed elsewhere
  • Nuclear Path debuff -> -25% on friendly ground vehicles/naval vessels for 180 seconds, radius 1.73
Yuricon.png
  • Deployed Malver suppression -> -40% on ground/air units for 12 seconds (indefinitely if within radius), radius 12
  • Garrisoned Malver suppression -> -20% on ground/air units for 2 seconds (indefinitely if within radius), radius 8
  • Oxidizer twin oxidizers -> -25% on air units for ~0.5 seconds, lasts indefinitely until oxidizers are stopped or directed elsewhere, stackable
  • Plague Splatter toxic barrels -> -10% on ground/naval units for 10 seconds, radius 1

  • Deployed Irritator flares -> -25% on ground/naval units for 24 seconds, radius 2.5
  • Syncronin bond breaker -> -20% on buildings for ~6 seconds, stackable
  • Syncronaut area bond breaker -> -20% on buildings for 16 seconds, radius 4, stackable
