The Allies continue to push their research on chrono tech to its limits. By manipulating time, they have become capable of twisting the technological achievements of their opponents at will. The battlefield has become a maze of space and time.

Aberration Challenge is the thirteenth Challenge map against the three Allied subfactions equipped with tech level lock systems.

Information[]

Two players are located in the center of the island, and the initial position of enemies are not fixed - at the beginning of the game, three enemy AIs will randomly select three out of the eight locations on the island to deploy their MCVs, and the remaining 5 vacant locations will generate Tech Base Expansion Posts, which are convenient for players to expand their base in battle.

After about 20 minutes of preparation time in the game, the enemy will begin the Tech Twister, and the two players were affected by the following:

  1. Starting from the tech level 10, block the player's tech level down step by step to level 0 at a rate of 60 seconds per game;
  2. Starting from the tech level 10, unlock the player's tech level step by step at a rate of 60 seconds per game until the tech level 1 is unlocked;
  3. After a short buffer time, execute #1 again to form a loop.
  • Cost of all challengers' infantry, unit and structures will increase by 50%.

When the corresponding technology level is blocked, the player cannot build any units and buildings in the locked tech level, but it does not affect the use of support powers.

Support power changes/additions:[]

  • The enemy will start using a special support power Lionheart Strike with a cooldown of 9 minutes in this challenge after a Tech Center is built. The effect is to call two Lionheart Bombers to bomb the designated area. The enemy will choose the player's unit of the largest cluster to use this support power, it requires power from the enemy base and is normally affected by signal jamming.
  • Once an enemy builds up an Experimental Warpshop, the enemy will start teleporting Chrono Prison to attack the challengers every time when 30 in-game minutes passed.
  • Enemy will use an extra slot of support power to deploy Ultra Miners at challengers' base to harvest ore, with cooldown of 20:00.

Challengers' start point is protected by Tech Concrete Walls.

  • The challenge's map is a modified version of a 4-player standard multiplayer map Dragon Harbour.
